Dual Moniters

In the AIX operating system, dual moniters are supported by having two
desktops. Clicking a button on the mouse will switch your curser to the other
moniter. I was wondering if this is or will be supported in Vista? This would
be a lot more usefull instead of just extending the desktop or having your
mouse slide over to the other moniter.

Thank you,
~Brendan

I'm having a somewhat similar problem. I have Windows Vista installed, and a
NVIDIA GeForce 6200 LE video card, along with an DFI 662-tmg motherboard.
OK, so I have two 22" sceptre monitors I'm trying to use, but I can't get
windows to recognize the second. I think its because I'm connecting the
second through the motherboard instead of the video card. Please advise.

Check in your BIOS that the integrated video is active. In most cases, when
one install a video card in such a mobo, you usually deactivate the builtin.

Both of your monitors should be connected to the outputs from your video
card.

How much memory does the video card have?

Thank you for you're response. I will check that and inform you of the
outcome as soon as I return from Alaska. Thanks again.
