Dual Boot with Vista?

I Installed vista on a Virtual PC running windows 98 ; The DVD
did not autorun ( neither setup.exe )
I had to boot to install from DVD , so it does not run a dual
boot manager.
Question is :
If I isntall from windows XP ( without booting - just running
setup.exe ) will I have a dual boot system ? ( XP + Vista )

I'm a tad confused, what does a virtual PC have to do with dual booting?
You need to boot the virtual PC from the DVD, it won't auto run on a virtual
PC that doesn't have an OS installed on it.

To create an actual dual boot you should create a separate partition on your
hard drive for each OS.

I HAVE win 98 on the Virtual PC - Problem is that autorun does
not run on win 98 . I have 2 virtual disks - One for win 98 and one
for vista .
So , I ask again : If I install vista from a XP install (
whitch is not installed on the VPC ) , will I have a dual boot
running?

it should set up the dual boot so you get 2 choices, vista and earlier windows.
also look at the system requirements for vista to be sure you have enough resources.
disk space and memory.
