dual boot windows7 64 and xp32

I have w7 64 installed one physical drive and have xp32 installed on
another. Currently I just disconnect one drive and connect the other to
change OS. As I get more familiar with W7 I'd like to set up a dual boot so
tat both drives are in the system.

How do I do this?

Thanx,

Vic

I don't know about 7 but normall if the other os is there when you
try to install the later it will ask you if you want to set up dual
boot. XP does so I assume 7 does. I don't know if you can set it up
after the fact. Maybe have to reinstall 7 with both drives attached.

Have you tried leaving them both connected and then using the BIOS to chose
which one to boot from??
You can set 1st and 2nd boot order in the BIOS and it will default to #1 unless
you enter BIOS.
If your BIOS supports the F12 option you can also chose which HD to boot from by
pushing F12 during
the Boot process and a small window will open where you can pick which HD to
boot from.

The other option of course is to install both HD and then run a repair with the
W7 installation disk

Look at easyBCD:

http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1

It provides an easy "graphically" interface to manage the Windows
Vista / 7 BCD "boot menu." Both Windows XP and Windows 7 64 bit can
"co-exist" on the PC at the same time. You can only run either
Windows XP or Windows 7 at one time.
