Dual Boot w/ 2 physical drives

Vista is on Physcial Drive-0 (all Vista registry paths = c:\ . . )
XP is on Physical Drive-1 (all XP registry paths = c:\ . . )

(at this time I am disabling Drive-0 in the bios to run XP - only takes
about 5 seconds to do with the new better bios navigation)

If I remember right, before Vista, the boot.ini that was on Drive 0, could
load the OS on Drive 1 and still have the OS on the second drive be run on
as Drive "C:"

Trying the program VistaBoot Pro, it looks like Vista will only address an
alternative installation by drive letter, so it would treat my XP
installation on the second drive as Drive D or E, and of course XP won't
work if it has been told by Vista that it is on Drive D when it has all
internal paths registered as C:\

The Question: Can Vista boot me into my existing XP installation on the
second drive and allow XP to think it is on Drive-C ?
