DsRemoveDsDomainW error 0x20ae (role owner attribute could not be read)

i am trying to delete orphan domain using command line
utility NTDSUTIL . After we reach to the stage where we
type in "remove selected doamin" we get an error msg
DsRemoveDsDomainW error 0x20ae(the role owner attribute
could not be read) .

Tried Knowledge base on Microsoft Website for help ,but
with no luck.

Please help!

It sounds like maybe the DC that you are running NTDSUTIL on does not know
which DC holds the Domain Naming Master role.

If you know which DC is your domain naming master, verify that it is up and
running and try removing the orphaned domain from there (if this works, we
may be having replication problems with the DC where you were getting the
error).

If you are unable to locate the domain naming master, try transferring or
seizing the role to another DC and try deleting the orphaned DC again. The
