DSO Exploit?

Susan

I downloaded SpyBot Search and Destroy and ran it to
find spyware. AdAware and Spy Bot Search and Destroy are
two free programs that have been recommended to me.

SpyBot detected something called
DSO Exploit

Description of it is the following:
Company: Microsoft
Product: Internet Explorer
Threat: Security hole

Company URL: http://www.microsoft.com/
Company product URL: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/
Company privacy URL:
http://www.microsoft.com/info/privacy.htm

Description
There's a security hole in IE allowing websites to
execute code without asking you first. You can find more
information at http://security.greymagic.com/adv/gm001-ie/

I have downloaded all Windows and Office updates and have
McAfee firewall antivirus software running. What is this
and what is best way to protect PC?

I, too, have this problem. I've used both Spybot S&D and Adaware--both identify DSO exploit and, when I say "fix it", the programs report that it will be removed. Yet, when I rerun immediately, the same problem appears. Perhaps related is my inability to ever change my homepage URL...it always defaults to an unpleasant one anytime I start IE
HELP!! Please..

I am having the same problem, Spybot S&D says it is fixed but when I run it again, it shows up again (IMMEDIATELY after I check it and it "fixes" it). I also dled ad aware, but ad aware doesn't seem to see any problems, where spybot S&D still finds DSO Exploit. I do not know if this is something I should worry about or not, because I have all the current security updates from microsoft, and some forums have said that its just a glitch in spybot, but I have no clue what to believe... All I know is I don't think it should be on my computer and I want to know how to get if off!!! PLEASE hel
