I have been asked to create a query for an Access database that sits out on a
server. The database is linked to SQL 2000 tables. I am not overly familiar
with linking tables, but I think I have a basic idea of how it works. I did
not create this database. Therefore when I open it at my computer, I do not
have the proper DSN connections for the linked tables. I know how to create
a DSN, which I have done. I gave it the same name that appears to be wanted
by the table. However, I get the error message: "ODBC -- connection to
'PT_ReadOnly' failed."
Could someone kindly give me some pointers on how to make this work?
Thanks,
Jennifer
