dsl connection problem

Hi All,
I have upgraded my laptop from XP home to XP professional
version.

Now my computer modem is not working, I have installed
the driver also for XP pro. Any way it is not a big
problem.

I have started the Verizon DSL connection. But it works
slower like dail up. On dsl speed test, it shows correct
speed. But I can see the slow speed like dail up. Also I
have problem in Network wizard,
Crreate New Connection
Connect to the internet
Set up my connection manually
Than it disables the option: connect using a broadband
connection that requires a username & password ??

Can any one help me for this problem. Is this problem
created by my XP pro upgrade or something wrong in my
computer.

I have Intel Pro / 100 VE network card.

Thank you for your time.

.Dear Avin
Verizon requires to use the third option which is "Always
On".The one that you chose is for sbc and other servers.
I hope the problem is solved.
