Dropper.delf.h Closing down Anti Virus ???

D

Dodge Brown

Hi all,

I've been running AGV for a while now and its been fine....up to a point
where it detected "Dropper.Delf.H" and now I am unable to run (or install)
any anti-virus software !

The anti Virus software just stops and disappears 10 or 15 seconds into scan
!

I also cant install software, again it just stops and disappears 10 or 15
seconds into install !

Further I cant Restore to any of my restore points ! After trying I get the
message "No Changes have been made"

...I don't know if it has got anything to do with Windows installer or
what.....

If anybody has any thoughts/suggestions they would be really greatly
Appreciated ! ! !

Thanks in Advance

Dodge

That's what delf does. Put the word delf into Google and read the
descriptions of the variants. You're going to have to remove the
offending entry from the registry run key and reboot.

See if you can d/l and run Trojan_Finder from my web site. Post its
log file here if necessary. Or d/l HijackThis which is a similar
program.

And don't open email atchs and click DL boxes on the web and
expect 'any' AV to constantly save your ass. Practice Safehex.
