When I did a system restore my DRM folder dissapeared. Even under looking at
hidden files no folde. When I uncheck to show hidden operating system, there
is a folder ghosted out. Do I just get the DRM folder from my XP disk? IT has
a files corrupted message when I try to play any downloaded music. I followed
the directions from the Microsoft website and still no DRM folder.

If you can't find it,try to locate it in the registry.

Start > Run > regedit >ok

Navigate to:-

Hkey_Local_Machine/Software/Microsoft/DRM

Double click on DataPath. The exact location will be listed in the
last column.

It is not in my registry. There is nothing under microsoft software DRM. The
message I keep getting when I try to play downloaded music is " it appears
that the windows media licenses (WMDRM) on your PC are corrupt. I follow the
microsoft link and follow the directions even the ones you gave but I still
can't get the DRM folder or my songs to play in my libary. Chris
