Hello there,

Movie Maker can not be moved (just in case you had that thought)

Whan capturing a movie you start by using the Capture Movie Wizard. The second
page of that wizard asks where you want to save your captured video...its Item
2. You can use the browse button to navigate to your desired location.

You can specify any Drive\folder as the location for your
captured video as John said. But first you need to go to
Tools -> Options -> General, and change the temporary
storage location to a folder on your D: drive.
