Drives don't map when logging into Win2k after sitting at the Windows Login scrn

Tony Pavlantos

We have Windows XP clients that will not run the AD login
script after sitting at the Windows Login screen
overnight. But if I reboot the PC, it logs in normally.

I also have a 1 Gateway services for Netware server(Win2k)
that will not map its shares if it was sitting at the
Windows Logon screen. It looked like the share names and
the permissions were deleted, but re-appeared after
rebooting.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Tony,

Where is the logon script residing? What type of file is it ( .bat, .cmd,
..vbs, .kix, etc ). How is the logon script delivered ( via GPO, for
example )? Is it only happening to WINXP systems, but not to WIN2000 or
WINNT systems?

Should have also asked that if you manually run the script ( if possible )
does it run that way?

Is it possible for you to include the script contents ( you can change the
server name if you feel that is necessary )?

HTH,

Cary
