Driver issue after XP install

N

Nicolas Pivet

I have a Packard Bell PC with an Explorer MS-6511 mother
board.
I was previously running with Windows Millenium and had a
lot of driver issues: my mp3 player, digital camera ...
plugged on USB would not be recognized by the pC and I
could not find drivers to fix the issues.
I decided to install XP. After the installation I have
even more issues: my ADSL modem (freebox) is no more
recognized (USB entry). Neither my sound board (Hoontech
DSP24), neither my digital camera (Minolta Dimage A1) nor
my printer can be installed properly
It looks like I have a generic (USB) driver issue. I tried
upgrading the VIA drivers (I installed via4in1_443v.exe)
but it did not fix the issue
ANYBODY CAN HELP ME, I AM STUCKED!
THANKS!
Nicolas

Go to the website of your motherboard manufacturer and download and install
the chipset drivers if they are not on the Packard Bell website.
