DRIVER HP PSC 2355

Hello,

I have just bought a Netcenter networkdrive with 2 spare USB
connections.
I connected my Netcenter drive on my WiFi router and it works perfect
but I can not connect my HP printer PSC 2355 via these extra USB ports
on my network.
If I try to add my printer he asks me the driver but HP only delivers
them with a full software to install.
(On the second USB port I connected another external HD and this I can
see without problems on my network.)

Can anyone help me with my problem please?

Thank you very much for your answer!!

Regards,

Dino

The HP PSC 2355 is an all in one unit. It is doubtful that you will be able
to get all the features to work properly if the printer is connected to
other than a USB port directly on the computer. The downloadable drivers do
not include network support.
You may be able to get at least the printer portion to work if you first
install the software on the computer, then connect the 2355 to a local
computer USB port. This allows the drivers to be installed, and the printer
to be properly detected. Once it works with a local USB port, there is a
possibility that the drivers can be redirected to the USB port on the
Netcenter external HD. Since it is not in truth a network drive, it likely
will not show up in my network places.

All in one devices generally work better as network devices if they have a
built-in network port.
