Drive shared for Administrative Purposes: How to change that

Just put in my old drive I used for backups. I share it on my home network
and all backups are done to it. However, when I try to share, it gives the
message in the subject line and won't let me change sharing permissions. I
remember doing it long ago, but have forgotten.

Where do I go to change the sharing back to the way I want?

Are you logged on as Administrator?

Changed owner to me, added new share, added full permissions and security to
me, went to the other computer, which has the exact same login name, and it
finally worked.
