Drive Image 2002

Peter

First, apologies if this is considered to be OT. I could not find a
more suitable NG

Being a fed up with the long delays while Drive Image V5 goes
through its preliminaries I bought Drive Image 2002.

Please has anyone else had irritating problems with DI-2002?

To me it is quicker than V5 but more prone to glitches. I am just
one step away from going back to V5.

GeneR,

Thanks for your suggestion. I certainly used XCOPY in the days of
DOS and found it to be useful (Remember DELTREE as well?) but I
really need compression. The situation is complicated by the fact
that I have FAT32 and NTFS formatted drives. I will do a test to
see if I can XCOPY from FAT32 to NTFS and vice versa. If I can I
may suppress my "need" for compression!
