Drag and Drop issues

R

Robert

I had a user who dragged and dropped folders off of a cd and onto her
desktop. When the folders copied over to her desktop, the contents of
the folder appeared on the desktop, not the root folder itself.

This did not occur when she chose to copy and paste the folder from the
cd to the desktop.

Rather unimportant, but any ideas?

You need to "copy" a file from a CD,
then "paste" it to the desired location
on your hard drive. Do not use drag
and drop for this procedure.
