Drag and drop issue

Some users have been experiencing problems dragging and dropping emails from
Outlook 2000. Outlook is set to use Word as it's email editor. Killing both
the Outlook and winword processes and then restarting Outlook clears the
problem.

Help please.

Ooops!, sorry.

In normal use the cursor changes and the file can be dropped either on the
user's desktop or into an application. The problem is that when users
attempt to drag the email nothing happens. The emails can still be opened
etc.

The OS is XP SP2 and Office has been upgraded to SP3.

Does this also happen in safe mode (outlook /safe) ?

Can the user successful drag-and-drop into an Outlook folder?

Does anything change when using right-click drag-and-drop?
