Drag and Drop Functionality

Can anyone tell me how you go about creating web-based drag and drop
simulation in FrontPage 2000. I'm trying to make my own practice exam, but I
can't seem to figure out how to make the equivalent of drag-and-drop
questions, where terms can be matched with their definitions, pictures
matched with terms, etc... I've been able to create hotspots that respond
with "correct" or "incorrect" values when asked to click on, say for example,
a given system component, and I've been able to tie that into my own testing
software. However, as far as creating the aforementioned simulation, I'm
totally lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

David,
This is way more difficult than most people imagine. You really
can't do it very easily. HTML just wasn't ever intended to do this. Most
people who need this resort to using Flash as it's designed to handle this
sort of interactivity. It may be possible with JavaScript and DHTML, but it
would be a nightmare to get it cross-browser. You're probably better off
looking at Flash as there are probably already libraries ready to go thanks
to the bevy of learning management systems and SCORM specifications out
there. Basically though, it's not a task for the feint of heart as doing
this sort of stuff in Flash can be, well, annoying at best since Flash can
be such a beast. Unfortunately, it's a beast that is designed to do exactly
the sort of thing you're looking for.
