Draft meeting request?

G

Guest

Using Office 2003. I want to create a meeting request (or any calendar item
with a date and time). But I want to save it to the draft folder and not to
my main calendar. Is this possible?

No, that's not possible. The drafts folder is for saving unsent messages only.

Hi,
If anyone apart from me is having this problem... 4yrs later..., it is possible.
I've no idea where Outlook's draft folder is for calendar items but if you go to the calendar screen (ctrl + 2) and search for a keyword in the title of the draft calendar entry you've saved, the draft will be in list of results returned. I'm using Office 2007.
Hope that's been of use

sjk1000,

That sounds like you search for a past meeting, then you re-send it with new dates and info...Not quite a "draft" in the message draft sense...
