Just took an hour off to fit a new heatsink to my main rig.

Good initial findings.........getting 6c off the cores and 7c off chipset temps.

If you have an Arctic Cooling Freezer class heatsink and are seeking a budget upgrade I recommend THIS

There is also a 90mm version for those with smaller cases.

Bought mine from Scan on today only offer for under £20.
Worth investing in even at regular price which is about £22.

Looks like a interesting design . Direct contct for the cpu and heatpipe should make a difference . Technology marches on .

Been a good few hours now and temps have barely budged.
Well satisfied for the £18 I paid :)

The sink was actually bought for an anticipated new build but hey, it needed testing.
