Downloading *zip. files

Hi,

everytime after downloading *.zip files the files were
automatically unpacked with Winace, but I still want
to save these *.zip files first and unpack them later.

Does everyone knows how to stop this
automatic unpacking ??

No,... but can't you just re-zip them? Don't use WinAce?

BTW, shouldn't post a valid addy in a public newsgroup; get lots of
undesirable stuff by doing that.

Either uninstall winace or configure the settings

You set this for each file type, e.g. for .zip
Explorer-View-Folder Options-File Types
Find the .zip association (may be WinAce File)
Edit, (or click Advanced on ME or XP) and check the "Confirm open
after download" box

The path to Folder Options may vary according to your operating
system. It may be:
Explorer-View-Folder Options
Explorer-Tools-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Control Panel-Folder options.
