downloading stuff.....?

When it comes to working Windows for downloading stuff i'm
completely lost. Everytime i try to download something it
goes to a prompt saying do you wanna download this thing
in windows, MSDOS, and something else and there's a box
asking what type of font or language i wanna download it
in. so i "click" windows and choose the wester english
font or something similiar and then it downloads a buch of
computer language stuff?? What's goin on!??
I thought it would download all the images and all the
language in english......... It's not even downloading it
in chinese or french it's just all computer
language,..what the hecks wrong?

What "stuff" are you trying to download where you have to
click Windows and choose the Western English font ??
