downloading pics from camera

when I plug in my digital camera, a box used to open that
asked what I wanted to do with the pictures. The View as
Slideshow has been checked to do each time the camera is
plugged in. How do I change this to get the option box
back?

When the box (Autoplay window) opens, click on Cancel.
Open My Computer, right click on your camera listed under Devices with
Removable Storage.
Click on Properties, click on Autoplay tab. Under Select, set it to
Pictures. Click on the button Prompt me each time.. and click OK.

I tried this but it will not stay on photos as soon as i
save and close, can u tell me why? Thanks

Tell me what it does after you select Pictures. It does not stay? What does
this mean? It goes to something else? If so what? After you select Pictures,
have you tried Restore Default?
