Downloading new Definitions?

Is there a way to download the new definitions for MSAS
manually? I have an infected workstation that has a VX2
bug on it and is blocking internet connection. I'd
rather not format, so I'm looking for a way to DL
definitions and install manually. Any help appreciated.
Please provide links if you have an option. Ad Aware was
already tried and didn't get it.

Lavasoft has a new VX2 tool !.

For MSAS just download these files. (i don´t believe MSAS removes it)

If all else fails try deleating reg,"Vx2". Maybe a

search with a *.vx2 might find it there.

OR do a *.vx2 disk search and if you find files you
suspect "move them" into a new folder named JUNK. Restart
and observe startup. NO STARTUP press f8 and enter safe
mode. Move files back.

Im not sure what a vx2 bug is, but as long as YOU know
the filename thats all you need to find it, move it.
