Downloading files

I accidentally checked the "Always ask before opening
this type of file" check box while downloading a .doc
file for Microsoft Word. I need to know how to undo
this. Word files are the most common type of file I
download, and it's getting really annoying to have left
click load the file in Internet Explorer instead of
giving me a download prompt.

How do I uncheck (or do the equivalent) the "Always ask
before opening this type of file" check box? I want
Internet Explorer to always ask.

Thank you.

You set this for each file type, e.g. for .zip
Explorer-View-Folder Options-File Types
Find the .zip association (may be WinZip File)
Edit, (or click Advanced on ME or XP) and check the "Confirm open
after download" box

The path to Folder Options may vary according to your operating
system. It may be:
Explorer-View-Folder Options
Explorer-Tools-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Control Panel-Folder options.
