Hi there,

I've got a Laptop that came with Windows Vista (32-bit), unfortunately I've
had some problems and need to reinstall. I would use the recovery disk that
came with the laptop but it has alot of manufacturer software that I do not
want, I've also left the disk at University so I can't use it anyway. I have
my product key and I've downloaded the drivers I need.

Is it possible to download Vista without paying for another product key then
use the key I already have? If so where is this download?

Is there a trial I can download then use my product key to make it fully
functional? (Again if someone could point me in the direction for the trial)

No, you can't avoid paying.

Your recovery disk contains specific code for your computer. It is an OEM
copy.

I seriously doubt that you need to reinstall. Post your specific problems in
the appropriate newsgroups for answers.
