downgrade the build

I have created a build include sp2 but the required application does not run
on sp2.
Is there an easy way to create the same build without service pack at all ?

If you made a backup of the database before installing SP2 database update,
the you could switch out and use SP1. Otherwise, uninstall the database, and
re-install only SP1 database (CD2).

What is it about SP2 that wont allow the application to run?
