double-clicking network drives, opens autoplay, not the drive.

When I double-click a network drive, it defaults to "autoplay"
instead of the usual default of "open". Any ideas on how to
stop this autoplay when I double-click a network drive?

(I tried the solution given to the similar problem on normal drives or
folders which opens "search" instead of the usual default of "open", but it
didn't helped.)

Look in the root folder on the drive for a file named "Autorun.inf" and
delete it.

And/or: Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32
