Double Clicking Folder Messed Up

Good Morning/Afternoon
I need some help please. All of a sudden when I click on "My Computer" then
"C drive", then on a folder, instead of it bringing up the contents of that
folder, it brings up "Search Results box". How do I fix this?
THanks for all of your help in advance

I have the same problem Christine. Have you found a solution? I once
found a way, perhaps a registry edit, to change the default way a
folder opens to an explorer view. I don't recall how I did that, but
I was wondering if that would solve this problem too.

Did you see Ken's response to Christine? The issue has been resolved for
her.
