Scenario
I have a website and want to create a site where users can add and list items for sales kind of like an EBAY scenario. I want to use a .NET environment. I will probably use MS SQL as data base. I can build it my self with Visual studio but there also may be some customizable templates already built for dot net platform and to save time may looking for them.
I would like the user to set up account pay online then simply give them the ability to add information upload images when needed.
If any one has any suggestions to help me get started would be great. Just trying to save time. Have an 8 and a 6 year old and if any other dads or moms out their read this you know haw demanding the are now for your attention at that age. I am hoping there is a pre build template out there I can use and just customize.

start with rainbow or dotnetnuke
www.rainbowportal.net
www.dotnetnuke.com

Both are open source .NET portal solutions with some support for e-commerce.
(They are both derived from IBuySpy, by different teams).
