I have an older PC that came with Win 98se and (2) USB 1 ports. I have
since added another hard drive and installed XP Pro on it using FAT 32. I
also bought a Maxtor USB 2 adapter card with 4 ports and have (2) Maxtor USB
external hard drives plugged into it. I like and use IFD (Image for DOS) as
a backup image program. What I'd like to know if anyone has come up with a
way to access USB 2 adapter cards in DOS? I know they can access USB 2
ports that are built into the motherboard. IFD (Image for DOS) is the
program I want to use, I have other image programs that I bought like Drive
Image, Norton Ghost, True Image, and BING...none of which are installed
right now, but I have used them all.
Does anyone know if it has been done and how to do it?
