Don't want server connection

I have an Access database that connects to a Back-end on my computer. Since I
have installed sql server and strated developing some VB .net database
applications my Access app gives me errors because it wants to connect to
SQLserver express.
How to stop this?

Access will connect (or try to) to any table linked to it's front-end. Make
sure that you have no linked tables to any SQL-Server databases and it
shouldn't try to connect.
