Done, but errors on page

Guest

Hi,
I'm getting "Done, but errors on page" at the bottom left corner of my
browser at certain websites such as FoxNews. The detail message says:

Line: 126
Char: 2
Error: 'rsinetsegs' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://www.foxnews.com/

Is there something wrong I can fix or adjust a setting or is it just the
website?
Thanks!

It is just the web site.
You can turn off notifications in Tools-Internet Options-Advanced.
Tools-Internet Options-Advanced.
Disable script debugging and script error notification.

I've had the same experience starting Friday the 13th. It's not 'the web
site.' I get this on the Microsoft site. Mozilla, Firefox and NeoPlanet open
the pages just fine; except for the Microsoft site which requests you use
IE4 or higher so I'm unable to use the other browsers to look for a
solutiona at microsoft.com.

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Check the box to Disable script debugging.
Uncheck the box to Display a notification about every script error.

the Microsoft site which requests you use IE4 or higher

That's a symptom of a problem with User-Agent.

The fact that you can use a different browser just means
that the site doesn't have a problem with the other browser's
User-Agent string (or, if relevant for OP's case, causes a
different path to be taken through the script logic.)

Use Google Groups to search my posts for other tips for
diagnosing this symptom, if the information in the KB articles
is not sufficient.

BTW I don't think that this symptom has much to do with OP's

Hi
Has anyone come up with a solution for this problem. Alan keeps saying it can be addressed in the Advanced tools option - Unfortunately this does NOT appear to work. I've tried every combination. I even thought if I ENABLE the scripting debug, reboot, then reset the options I might luck out. Didnt work! Something is screwed up somewhere else (registry?) and the selections made under the Advanced tools option simply DO NOT WORK!! Any ideas? This is driving me NUTZ!!!!
