Domain at work, Workgroup at home

The laptop I use at work has Windows 2000 Professional and is setup with domain. My home PC has Windows XP Home and uses a Workgroup. They are connected to a router that automatically assigns the IP addresses. I can access the web with both PCs. The Workgroup name on my home desktop is the same as the domain name on the laptop. The same username and password is on both PCs. I want my laptop to be able to use the printer connected to the desktop PC. When I go to My Network Places I can see the Windows XP computer from my Windows 2000 laptop but when I try and access it I get the error message "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request." Any help would be appreciated.

I found a web site that had the answers I needed. It is chicagotech.net/workgroupnet.htm.
