Have abc table with a field name xyz.
Built query using that xyz field (dragged and dropped) - query runs fine.
Used that query in subreport, when i go to run the report i get, "...Jet
database engine does not recognize xyz as a valid field name or
expression..."
What the ...??? I've tried what I know...

Do you have a control bound to the field? If not, are you using the field
in a calculation or otherwise as part of another control's value? It seems
that on reports, if you are going to reference a field then you need a
control (it can be hidden) that is bound to the field.
When you say you "get" an error message, can you identify it as resulting
from either a function or an event procedure? Is there an error number?

My apologies for not responding sooner. This email lead me to ask other
questions that helped fix the problem. Although I remember having an ah-ha
moment after this email, I can't remember how I resolved it.
