does vista language matter for other programs?

Living in Germany, but not being German, I prefer to do my computer things in
English. Also beause at work we use English. Now I have a new PC and instead
of installing an English language Vista, as I ordered, my handler gave me a
German version with language package. I wanted to order a new program (Fusion
10) in English, but now I am not sure if that will work well on the German
Vista. Also, I have my Photoshop in English. So my question: does it matter
which language the OS is for using other programs in a different language, or
can I just mix languages? I also use Dutch sometimes. Thank you for an anwer.

You can mix language. I have installed 5 languages - all applications in
English work fine under any languages/users.

Although you can mix languages as desired, if you didn't get what you
ordered, why not return it and insist on getting the correct thing?
