Well, the error says it's looking for something to install, and not finding
the server to download and/or install it. Since it happened after you
installed Windows One Care, try uninstalling and reinstalling it to see if
the error goes away. Or go to a restore date before you installed it and
see if it is now fixed. If so you might want to reconsider installing it.

I notice (by the footer added at the base of the post) that Spamfighter is
being used.

I have just installed Spamfighter and noticed that I was getting the same
message in Event Viewer each time I start the computer. I have managed to
prevent the error message occurring on start up by disabling "SFAgent" under
the startup tab on Run->msconfig. However, if I click on the "Update" button
in SpamFigher to see if there is an update to the software, this error
message appears. So, it seems pretty clear that in my case the problem lies
with SpamFighter.

I'm not exactly sure what "SFAgent" does but I suspect that it loads at
startup and auto-runs to check for new software. I have just logged this
with SpamFighter and will repost here if anything positive materialises from
the vendor.
