Documents and Settings folder

In my Documents and Settings folder, there are several of folders (I believe
that Win2k uses these for various settings such as Desktop, Favorites etc.):
-> ADMINI~1~GHB
-> Administrator
-> Administrator.GHB
-> All Users
-> All Users.WINNT

What are the different folders used for and which ones can be deleted?

TIA,

Looks like you've done at least two over the top repair installs. When you
logon as local administrator then from a command prompt;

echo %userprofile%

will show you which one you're using.

1.) I don't know because you didn't answer.

2.) Not sure what you mean by 'change'

Hi Dave,

Is there a way to change profiles , i.e. is there a "change %userprofile%
newprofile " command?

My other question is essentially whether there is a minimum set of profiles
that the system must have (i.e. Administrator and All Users ?) and so the
others can be deleted.

P.S. IS there a KB article about this stuff?

TIA,

Generally the local \Administrator , \All Users and \Default User profiles
are all that are found on a new installation and are not to be deleted. New
local accounts are created in Control Panel|Users and Passwords. When you
logon as a new user a new profile is created from an image in \Default User
