Hi LM,
First, open your 'bill.dot' template - not a new document based on it. That is, use File|Open then select 'Document templates
(*.dot)' from the 'Files of type:' drop-down and open the 'bill.dot' template.
Then when you 'Add' the autotext entry, use the drop-down box to select 'bill.dot' and click 'OK'.
At the moment, you've probably got the autotext entries attached to 'Normal.dot', which might explain why you've got access to them
but not your co-workers. You can use the Organizer, to transfer the autotext entries from there to 'bill.dot'.
Cheers

| How do I "attach" it? I opened bill.dot in Word, typed the autotext and
| added it, then saved bill.dot. I used "save all". This all works for me
| when I log in but not for any of the other users. Some of the .dot files
| that are listed when I go to Templates and Add Ins are start.dot,
| glossary.dot, and some others that obviously relate to other programmes on
| the computer.
|
| When I open bill.dot and open the Organizer, there are no autotext entries
| in bill.dot.
|
| So how to I attach it.
