Document Merging with a Tab Delimited ASCII file

How to take a tab delimited ASCII text file (*.txt) into Word, and merge for mass printing. By default my records will use tab character as a delimiter and carriage return & line feed as record separators. I can use characters for field and record delimiters if needed. I would need the hex or char value. I am limited to created ASCII files ONLY. Thanks in advance for any help. email address = (e-mail address removed)

Word will quite happily merge from a tab delimited text file. Simply pick
the file as the data file and it will do the work for you.
It helps if you have field titles in place of the first record :)
