Loosing_her_Mind_Over_MS02007

I have just installed Microsoft Office 2007 and am very disappointed because
whenever I attempt to enter the "properties" section of Excel, I receive the
message:

"Document Information Panel was unable to load."

I am not sure what the problem is, but I cannot do anything with the
program unless I can use the Properties option.

Can anyone help?

This happens in Excel-Office Button-Prepare-Properties.

Thanks ;-)

Only a thought but is it an Excel 2007 file? Run the compatibility checker
from the same dialog box and also try it from a new document.

I've run the compat checker and it says not issues were found. Also, I cannot
use the help tool (nothing happens when I click it) and I cannot close the
application (nothing happens when I click the "x". I have to End Task with
task manager.) I am really regretting spending money on this program.

My guess (and it is only a guess) is that you either have corruption issues
or compatibility problems. I have Vista OS but my understanding is that
Office 2007 is supposed to be compatible with XP.

Did you check the option for a full install of all components when
installing. I always do because it saves problems later. If you didn't then
put the disk back in and try installing all components.

I can't suggest anything else but maybe someone else can help some more.
