DNS_ERROR_RCODE_SERVER_FAILURE

I ran netdiag /fix recently and I received some errors
that I can't seem to find how to fix. The errors are as
follow:

DNS test . . . . . . . . . . . . . : Failed
[FATAL] Failed to fix: DC DNS entry SGO. re-
registeration on DNS server '192
..168.10.111' failed.

_ldap._tcp.pdc._msdcs.SGO. re-registerat
ion on DNS server '192.168.10.111' failed.
DNS Error code: DNS_ERROR_RCODE_SERVER_FAILURE

These go one for a while.

How do I fix these? What do these mean?

Seems that your domain is a single label name. Can we see an ipconfig /all
please? Also, to compare, please provide your AD DNS Domain name as wel.

Also, can I assume that 192.168.10.111 is your DNS server?
Does the zone "SGO" exist in DNS?
What service pack is the machine on?

Unfortunately you have quite a few issues, mainly the SGO domain name is a
single label name. Unfortunate. AD requires DNS, since DNS is hierarchal,
the domain name needs to be of a hierarchal nature, such as sgo.com,
sgo.net, sgo.mike, etc.

The DNS addresses you show in the ipconfig /all are your ISP's. They must be
removed and only use your internal DNS. I'm going to assume that DNS is
running on this machine (192.168.10.151), so therefore all interfaces MUST
only show this IP for DNS. Remove these two:
64.105.166.122
64.105.132.250

ALso, change the 127.0.0.1 address to 192.168.10.151.

As for the single label name issue, you're going to actually need to decide
on rebuilding the domain one way or another. If you're in Mixed mode, that
would be fortunate. See this article:

292541 - How to Rename the DNS name of a Windows 2000 Domain [As long as the
domain is in mixed mode]:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=292541

If you're in Native Mode, then it's a bit tougher. You would need to install
a fresh AD installation on the same network with the proper names and such,
then use the ADMT tool to migrate the users and groups over to the new
domain.

You can 'bandaid" it with a temp fix with this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=300684
It must be applied to all machines, but be forewarned it won't help GPOs or
DFS. For instance, when a client queries for the domain to get the GPOs, it
queries this:
\\sgo.net\sysvol\policies\sgo.net\{PolicyGuidNumber}

but if single label name, it tries this:
\\sgo\sysvol\policies\sgo\{PolicyGuidNumber}

And that is more of a UNC and the system would think that this is actually a
machine name and NOT a domain name. See what I mean?

Sorry about that...
