DNS setup problems

Hi,

I'm trying to get my head around having multiple AD domains and multiple DNS
domains in a forest.
e.g test environment set up 1 DC running DDNS for domain abc.com works ok,
install a new win2k domain xyz.com, install DDNS and set forwarders to
domain abc.com.
Question

How does domain abc.com find out about xyz.com, so that AD replication
works? kcc complains about unable to resolve domain xyz.com?
What DNS info is replicated, between domains?, what should you see running
DNS administrator?
How do i install a second DNS server in either domain, or do i just install
the service, as the DNS domain already exist in AD?
Should both domains sysvol data be replicated to each others domain?

Hi Danny,

I'm not setting up a child domain, both the second dns and domain names will
sit along side the original domain, ie xyz.com does not sit under abc.com,
it sits besides it in the forest, so how do i go about sitting this sort of
environment up.
