DNS server configured to forward to non-recursive DNS server

My event log (DNS) is full of the following error
messages:

------------------------------

The DNS server is configured to forward to a non-
recursive DNS server at 192.43.172.30.

DNS servers in forwarders list MUST be configured to
process recursive queries.
Either
1) fix the forwarder (192.43.172.30) to allow recursion
- connect to it with DNS Manager
- bring up server properties
- open "Advanced" tab
- uncheck "Disable Recursion"
- click OK
OR
2) remove this forwarder from this servers forwarders
list
- DNS Manager
- bring up server properties
- open "Forwarders" tab
- remove (192.43.172.30) from list of forwarders
- click OK

------------------------------

The IP address 192.43.172.30 is NOT in my forwarders lis
(nor are the other 20+ random IP addresses in the other
error messages). What's causing this?

Please pardon my ignorance...I'm a non-techie trying to
fill the IT gap until we can replace our recently
departed guru...

You may need the Hotfix referred to in this article.
838969 - Event 7063 is recorded in the DNS log of Event Viewer in Windows
2000 Server
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=838969

They may ask for your credit card but if you are calling for a specific
hotfix for a specific problem you won't be charged. Give them the article ID
and tell them of the 7063 events.
