DNS resolution

Hi All,
I currently have 2 AD controllers in my domain, AD1 and AD2.
AD1 was the first controller to be installed and also the dns server for the
domain.
When I ping the domain name it resolves to the ip address of AD2. WHY ?
Any ideas? How do I change this?

That's probably because it's the first DC it finds in the DNS records or
it's locally cached, it shouldn't matter...
