Hi,

I have a server Domain Controller and DNS server managing three servers.

What i did is just changed the IP address of that servers and set the DNS.
Now i observer that whenever I ping from Domain controller with computer
name it still gives me old IP but whenever I ping from Other computers. I
shows me new IP Address.

I checked the registry and also deleted the old DNS and installed new one..

THankx..

Lets start with talking about AD and DNS basics. I am assuming that you are
only using your internal DNS server that AD uses? If you have your ISP's DNS
addresses in your IP propertiies, they need to be removed.

That said, check DNS again, make sure that all the IPs are updated,
including the (same as parent) address. Since you made an IP change, check
this zone:
_msdcs.gc

Make sure only the new IP shows up. This can be the cause of 'can't find
domain' when you are trying to join a machine.

Also, after doing this, as Martin suggested:
try ipconfig / flushdns
then ipconfig /renew
Did you also restart the netlogon service?

Do you have WINS running as well? If you do, check the database for the old
IP.
