DNS Issue

I purchased the domain name "timothyrmartin.com". Currentl
y i have a dynamic ip address but i used DynDns to forward
tmart.dyndns.org
to my public ip address which is automatically updated by my router.
My que
stion is: how do i get "mail.timothyrmartin.com" to forward to
tmart.dyndns.
org so it knows what my public ip address is and mail is forwarded to
my exc
hange server? I setup domain forwarding but if i ping
timothyrmartin.com it
doesn't resolve. I figured it would resolve to tmart.dyndns.org. Can
anyo
ne help me out with this?

You need to logon to your account at GoDaddy and manage your DNS.
Create a new Alias (Cname) named www.timothymartin.com, and point that alias
to tmart.dyndns.org.

For the MX you need an MX record with its name left blank, then use
tmart.dyndns.org as the mail server name (it is important you use this name
and make sure the SMTP server's host name is also tmart.dyndns.org.

The problem I see, your IP address is owned by Comcast, which means you
should verify port 25 is not blocked by Comcast. I tested this and I cannot
connect to your mail server on port 25 at your current IP. If it is
blocked, you will have to use a smart host or set up a pop collection
service to download the mail from another server and set to Your Exchange
server.
