DMI pool data

A couple at my chuch donated their old computer with Windows 98. I was
asked by the churhc to look at it and see if it works. When I turn it
on and it boots, I get a verifying DMI pool data message please insert
disk and press any key. How do I get passed this problem? I don't have
the start up disks. I called the couple to see if they did. They
didn't think so. What if they don't? What can I do? We were hoping
to give the computer to a family in the church who can't afford one.
thanks

You'll probably have to get into BIOS and verify that the settings are
correct. Is the hard drive detected by BIOS? See
