DLL Error Message

I am using windows xp and when the pc boots up to the desktop screen I
recieve an error message. Title: RTHDCPL.EXE Illegal system DLL relocation
The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not
run properly. The relocation occured because DLL
c:windows\systen32\HHCTRL.ocx occupied an address range reserved for windows
systemDLL. The vendor supplying DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

Please can you advise me how to solve this error message and get it to stop
showing up everytime I switch my pc on.

Thank you

For now, uninstall your sound manager.

next,,,go to the site of the mfg of your soundcard and see if they have any
updated software...
or get a version specifically for XP

You might want to download and run the hotfix available from
Microsoft after you install the updates.

The Realtek HD Audio Control Panel may not start, and you
receive an error message when you start the computer: "Illegal
System DLL Relocation"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/

Good luck
